In Need Of HELP ASAP I have not walked without the aid of assistance since December 20, 2004, and have severe pain all the time in my back, left leg, shoulder, and wrist and am mostly confined to a wheelchair due to both weakness, damage, and breathing difficulties from multiple injuries that I sustained. And although I have transportation through our local handicap transit service I have no one to accompany me through the day in case of an emergency, they only run on the normal bus hours in my city which are mon-fri 7am-6pm. (I cannot drive myself due to the medications and multiple injuries that I have sustained, and the off chance of a blood clot again moving to a vital part of my body causing more injury to myself or worse to someone else.)Currently I am on 12 medications and have to inject myself in the leg twice a day with blood thinners.I know that I am not as bad as some, but we really need help. My husband is wonderful but exhausted from taking care of me from showering and dressing me to cooking, cleaning and working extra to try to make ends meet. But every time we try something else breaks or goes wrong. PLEASE ANY DONATION OR GIFT WOULD REALLY HELP US OUT. Blessed be, and thank you in advance for trying to make our day a little better..

Please assist me. Help is desperatly needed for me and my family!

INJURIES

These are pictures from my stays from the nursing homes, as you can see there are very big bruises on my legs. I still have these bruises from time to time they are allways on my waist down, and very from size to size. This is one of the reasons it is very difficult for me to get any thearpy that I benifit from. These are extremly painful, and hard to over come.

SAGE WE MISS YOU WITH ALL OUR HEARTS Sage Our Best Friend and Protector Born: June 16, 2001 Springfield, MAPassed to the Rainbow Bridge: April 17, 2004 Higginum, CT I found Sage at the Springfield MSPCA, she was what appeared to me to be a very strong, insightful kitten. We attempted to place her with another kitten from a different litter, she didn't seem to like that kitten too much so we knew that we would just have her in our home. When we returned to the cage we saw a very sickly little kitten huddled in the back that she immediately went to and cuddled. So we decided at that moment to take both Sage and her brother Merlin home with us. The next day we took them to the vet and we were told how sick they really were they both had sever upper respiratory infections, worms, mites and had just been neutered and spayed. We had to put them both on a strong does of antibiotics. The turned out to be the strongest, most loving kitties anyone could hope for. Both Merlin and Sage became the best kitties we could ever hope for. Sage would sleep on my head while I slept, and follow us when we made dinner to help us. When we got out new puppy Kai, Sage warmed up to him slowly, always wanting to protect her brother Merlin. It would switch back and forth between Sage protecting Merlin and Merlin protecting Sage. She would always take her position above my head to protect me. On Thursday, April 16 my husband came home and was doing his normal thing and Sage and Merlin came up to greet him. A few moments later he heard what he thought was a hiss and he went to see what was going on. He found Sage just laying on her side and Merlin by her. He called me immediately and I told him to bring her to my work right away. She was not moving her back legs. When my husband walked in with Sage I immediately knew their was a problem, she was meowing up a storm. I took her out of the carrier and she immediately stopped crying and started to snuggle into my stomach. I placed her on a table and saw that she could not move her back legs. We immediately called the vet and brought her in, it was 9pm. The whole ride to the vet she was snuggling into my hand that I had placed in her crate. We brought her inside and took her out of the crate. Within 30 seconds my vet had left the room to go get some shots and pills and started to give her the medication. He then placed her in a crate in the back room. When he returned he told us the bad news. Sage had been hit with Feline Cardiomyopathy. We had no idea what that was. We were then told all the nasty little details about it. IT WAS HER HEART and there I was praying that it was only a broken leg. Well, needless to say Friday, April 17th I went to see her first thing in the morning and again she was there snuggling up close and just staring at me. I stayed for about an hour just talking to her and telling her it was OK. I left to go home and get my husband from work to go visit her again. We got back to the hospital around 4pm and she was so excited to see us. She pulled herself up my leather jacket and onto my shoulder. My husband and I didn't want her to get too upset, so we placed her back in the crate, said good-bye and that we loved her. Then Saturday the 18th came. I got up that morning and was getting ready to go, and the phone rang it was 7:45am. The Vet was on the line telling me that during the last treatment she had passed away. I thought I was going to die myself, my eyes teared up and I couldn't speak, my husband seeing my reaction did the same. I hung up with the vet and got in the shower crying the whole time. Merlin is here now with Kai, and we will be getting Merlin tested for the FELINE CARDIOMYOPATHY as soon as possible so he doesn't face the same since it is genetic and they are brother and sister. Again Sage is protecting her brother. I miss my Kitty who would have been 3 this year, and always will.
